Snow in Central Texas!!!!

We finally got a decent snow in Central Texas and Emberli got to play in it. Belle did too, of course, but she has seen snow before. The last two times it snowed this year, Emberli was either too sick to go outside or asleep when it snowed and when she woke up it had melted. But, not this time. Robert got to take her outside while I was at school and got some pictures. She loved it!! The girls played outside for a little while. They had fun.

Papa's Birthday

We went over to my mom and dad's house to celebrate my dad's birthday. Isabella helped cook the birthday cake and Emberli got to help blow out the candles. They love any excuse to go over to Grammy and Papa's house.

Valentine's Party

Isabella had her Valentine's party at school. She had a good time, but it is always hard when I show up, because she just wants to come home with me. But, she made her valentine bag, and handed out her valentine cards, and played games.

Friends

Isabella had one of her friends over and it was actually nice weather outside..YEA!!! So, we blew up the bouncer and they had a great time. Emberli thought it was super fun! She loves playing with the big girls.

Emberli's Birthday party

Emberli had a great time at her Elmo birthday party. We just did a family party this time. There aren't many kids her age around that she always plays with, but she plays with mostly family all the time. So, she had a blast. Her new trike is still a little big we discovered, so hopefully in a couple of months when it gets nice outside she can ride it.

Emberli's Turning 2!

Can you believe it???? Emberli is turning 2 already!! Wow....how time flies! She has kept us on our toes for the past 2 years. But, we wouldn't trade it for anything....especially when she looks at us out of the corner of her eye......just tooo much! The girl has sooo many expressions that there are times all we can do is laugh. Emberli was born on January 23, 2005 ....7 lbs, 17 inches long (and she is still short....hahahaha!).

New Favorite

Isabella got this Leapster for Christmas. She loves the thing...she takes it everywhere. We really like it because not only is it entertainment, but the games are all learning games.

Emberli's 1st Movie

We took the girls to see new Chipmunk movie. It was Emberli's first movie. And she actually did a lot better than I thought. I was very glad we had my dad and sister there with us. She hopped from lap to lap and walked up and down the aisle a lot. But, she did do very good for her busy little self. The movie was very cute.

Snow on Christmas Eve

We finally got snow in Central Texas and on Christmas Eve! Can you believe it? Well, Emberli was napping while this all happened so, yet again she has still not seen snow. The year it actually snows twice...and I still haven't managed to get her out in it.

So, it snowed again and actually started sticking. So I took her back out. That is when she realized she could catch it in her mouth. It was hilarious.

Some people in the area got much more snow....but this is what our yard looked like.

Emberli opening up her new McDonald's Drive Thru. It is so funny to watch them play with this. They have a drive up window, a grill, a fry basket, and a cash register. It has happy meal boxes and everything. Emberli will just walk up and say "Help you"...which means can you help me? It is way too cute.
