Coloring Eggs, Round 2

Emberli loves getting to do things with the big girls now.

Can't you just see the excitement....haha

Emberli's first egg coloring experience.

Bella trying to wait patiently to start another egg.

Emberli posing with the big girls.

After the community Easter at the park, we came home and played and colored eggs. We have so many egg kits. The girls really have fun doing this.

Easter at the Park

Emberli getting ready to get in the car to go to the park.
Belle and her friend seeing the Easter bunny.
Papa trying to get Emberli to be nice to the Easter bunny. We all remember she doesn't like dressed up characters. (remember Christmas with Santa)

Bella getting her picture with the Easter bunny.

Papa teaching Emberli how to throw horseshoes.

Bella loves these slides now that she is older. I still remember the days of getting to the top and not wanting to come down.

Belle and her friends making cupcakes.

Showing off her creation.

Time for face painting. Her and her friend wanted to look the same.

I would say that was a success.

Emberli and the Easter basket.

Belle hunting for eggs.

Belle and her friends with all their candy and eggs.

Our town put on their second annual community Easter at the park. They had bounce houses, slides, cupcake decorating, games, pinatas, and so much more. This is such a good event and the girls look forward to it. We didn't let Emberli participate in the egg hunt again this year due to the mass amount of people that were there. We took one of Belle's friends with us and they had the egg hunt separated into age categories. So, it would have made it too hard to keep up with all three. But, they had a blast and Emberli didn't know any different.

Easter Party

We taught Belle how to play the egg race the "correct" way...just kidding.

Bella hunting for her eggs...they all had the kids name on the eggs. So they would each get the same amount.

Bella had her Easter party at school. They all had a blast. We took them to the park, so all they were interested in was playing on the playground and then hunting eggs. They all did so good. She is in such a good class this year and has a wonderful teacher. We couldn't have been more blessed with a better start to schooling than she has had! Our shy girl is coming out of her shell very quickly and getting lots of friends at school. She is such a smarty! They tested them already and she is the top person in her class for math. Apparently she knows the answers to things they haven't even taught them yet. We are both very, very proud of Bella!

That Girl

Ummmm....WOW....is all I can really say that I thought when I saw this coming at me. She was so proud of herself until she thought she was in trouble. She had put Isabella's dress up clothes on and then had gotten into Bella's watercolor paints. She apparently licked her finger and put it on her face until she was satisfied with her "work." I know this could have been so much worse...but to me this was traumatizing enough for one day...haha.

New boots

Isabella has been wanting rainboots forever. I am really just too cheap to buy them. But not long ago we were having a mommy/daughter shopping day and I caved. They were on sale, so that totally helped....haha. If you haven't ever looked, they charge just as much for toddler rain boots as they do for adult rainboots. I find that kind of ridiculous personally. But, these were very cute and all she had to do was give me "the look" and I totally gave in.

Tball Time

Girl talk time....Isabella and one of her good friends are on the same team.

Getting down to catch the ball.

Emberli watching very intently....wishing she was out there, I am sure.

Are we supposed to hit the tee and the tee ball..haha

On first base!

Emberli watching and coaching her sister.

Bella had to have that pink helmet!

Emberli discovered dandelions while we were there.
Emberli waited her turn all day to take the hat and go to base!

I finally got to make it to Bella's tball practice. She really is doing very good considering her age. She definitely has the run the bases thing down. She hits the ball pretty good, as long as she is focused on what she is doing. She gets easily distracted...haha....I don't know where she gets that from. She is having a good time so far, her first game is in early April.

St Patty's Day

We had another great day of weather on St Patrick's Day, so we took the girls to the park to play. They had a blast as you can tell! Our little dare devil as you can see, still has no fear!
